But all that was to change, soon a new sound was being incorporated into the scene and 3 guys are widely credited for it.
BAD MICE - Sean O'Keefe, Simon Colebrooke and producer Rob Playford (owner of Moving Shadow records) were heavily bringing breakbeats and a very influential approach of sampling beats, loops spoken word, cutting them up and re arranging them in a frenzy. Finest and mature example of this technique is Bombscare which is generally considered the blueprint from which jungle's characteristic of breaks was known.
GEZ VARLEY is certainly no stranger to techno and has a long history of making music; having been responsible for penning hits such as “LFO – LFO”, “What is House” and “LFO vs FUSE – Loop”.
A very important part in the club scene with his personal alias “G-Man” and a rare occasion of a producer/dj who can dive into the depths of Techno and deliver you the ultimate essence of the style.
Over the years, Varley has dedicated his ears to shaking the walls at the world's top clubs and his set have a lot to offer fro his own works, his collaborations and remixes.
From LFO and beyond!
