For the music world back in the late 80’s and throughout 90’s , the fairytale is pretty much - in a commonly sense the same for every individual. It’s the same path that any music passionate had followed - if only with slight differences from country to country and to how fast the scene was developing - but in UK going to warehouse parties, club-nights and then at friends’ houses for the after chill-out party were always the choices. The ‘rave-scene’ had a certain style and it was the same for all - so far to this point. From here to further on is where things are getting to differ, seeing two types of individuals, those being there for the party or those being there for the music. We keep the latter as this is the basis to start Si Moore’s story. A true musical mind, thus, the more he was getting into music the more he was distinguishing his style, widenning the spectrum  and being very alert as to where the electronic dance scene was leading to and what was he drawn by.
Unlike most, just as the club scene was at a climax he wasn’t straight onto buying vinyl and starting to dj, he was after music knowledge, ever since. The knowledge of sound, the process of creating it, so he inevitably has been in a continuous process of building his own studio.

In November 1995, his track was part of a compilation on Dansa Records.
He is not the person to go and tell you all about it , unless it happens you ask . He has the theory that low-profile gives space to creativity rather than that space being occupied by a buzz. We did manage to get some word for him though and happily share it.
1. What plays in your car ?
Mostly Zero 7 - "Simple things", "When it falls" &     "The  garden"
2. How did it all start for you?
With the advent of computers my world was turned sideways. I was too lazy to learn how to play a musical instrument but having a computer "play" was as good as it was gonna get for me. I dabbled with Specdrum, Music-X then i finnaly settled with Cubase on a battered old Atari ST. By todays standards it was just a sequencer for the synths, sampler and drum machines i'd acquired. On Friday nights I'd go to Shelley’s and then spend the week trying to learn how to recreate aspects of tunes i'd heard there. Music took over my life and sad as it was I'd become a trainspotter of sounds. I've been fortunate to have made some good friends and with their help I created my sound.
Since those early days I have taken a long absence then roughly 3 years ago i seemed to gravitate towards the idea of producing again. As technology has improved the computer can now do pretty much everything. Sequencing, synths, samplers, effects but with the addition of some outboard gear I'm able to combine the two aspects, hardware and software while being eclectic at what I choose to do what. The dream is now a reality.
     3. What is one sub-genre you think doesn't get the attention it deserves?
The electro-detroit stuff thats been around for a long while is probably is due for some.
      4. What is one track that never gets old for you no matter how many times you play it?
Theres a track by Carl Craig on his "Landcruising" CD called "A Wonderful Life" Its a beautifully simple track with pads, arpeggiated lead and percussion. I love the way it evolves.
       5. As a Producer , which side are you on : entertainment or educational ?
Entertainment in its loosest sense. My idea of a track can be an hour long or more & not many can handle that kind of repetitiveness.
       6. Do you walk around humming melodies?
From time to time. I have a Brazilian vocal thing during most summers. It comes and goes but i can never remember it when i'm near the music room. one day i'll get it down.

At times he can be found sharing improvisations streamed live on Mixlr. There is an archived database of his jams over there.
What is certain is that you should expect to come across his name connected to some releases in the near future. He is working on some mixes he has been asked of . Without wanting to reveal more keep your eyes and ears open and you won’t miss them.  Alternatively our FB fun page : Report2Dancefloor Radio  will be giving you all info .
