Since there is only so very little about Joe Nebula to be found around the web, besides his own posts like this photo above, we are extremely honored and delighted he gave us this interview, a chance to get to know a little deeper the stunning-possitive-creative person he is.
Exclusively on Report2Dancefloor Radio.

1. What plays in your car?
Lots of DNB, Trance & Techno. Of course plenty of old skool!!

2. How did it all start for you?
It started back in 1989 when we were playing around on an old Amgia
making music we thought was good! We (Me and Richard) sent our first
demo out on tape to Warp Records. We didn’t make the grade lol. Soon
after we dropped a demo off to our local record shop called Just Grooves
and our friend who worked there told the shop to sign the track. This was
our first release on Reinforced Records, Séance & Atheama.

3. What is one subgenre you think doesn't get the attention it deserves?
I don’t I think the all get their air time. There is so much access to music
these days that any genre or subgenre has an audience

4. What is one track that never gets old for you no matter how many times you
hear it?
Sweet Passion, Stunna, Smote and Submorphics

5. As both a DJ/Producer, which side are you on: entertainment or educational?
Both I love to DJ and have fun putting on a show but I also like to push
others in anyway I can. Im lucky to have seen plenty of people grow in the
scene.
I ran a site called back2you with Rhay Paul were we gave remixes out for
people to try and become an official remixer of the said artist. We had
Goldie, Blame, Dizzy Rascal and many others. Some of the winners have
gone on to big things. Like DJ Loko who now works for Ram, Saxxon who
is just everywhere right now. Not only did they win they also got advice.

6. Do you walk around humming melodies?
lol Everyday

7. Your message to Report2Dancefloor Radio (including ahead plans)
This year is our 30th anniversary and Im planning on a special album
release, around autumn. BIG UP all at the station and much respect.

DeepSpace Radio | Detroit, MI

In the previous year a good and positive communication established a bond with Detroit's Legendary Deep Space Radio in the form of exchange. As it was originally formed in the early 1990s by Juan Atkins, Kevin Saunderson, Derrick May and Eddie Fowlkes. It was a Detroit radio show dedicated to house & techno. Deep Space Radio served as a platform where these young producers could have complete control in programming and the opportunity to expose the world to new sounds from the underground. Kevin went on to do a Deep Space Radio X-Mix for Germany’s Studio !K7 label in 1997. 2013 marks the return of Deep Space Radio as Kevin Saunderson’s monthly podcast, carrying on the tradition of introducing the most compelling new electronic music artists and presenting the deepest, funkiest techno sounds from the global underground.

Report2Dancefloor Radio is proud to contribute to this great cause to spread the sound of compelling artists in a wider audience. Curated by George Kouros this collaboration has already offered Snuffo, Andy Barker(808 State) and of course George Kouros. Both sets he presented had enormous possitive feedback and the year 2020 will be double promising.

George Kouros is a committed vinyl collector since the early 90s.
Ever since he is strolling along the local record stores but also any travels abroad are definitely not about leisure but looking for more records. Always headed by his musical influences of Belgian minimal synth / NewBeat, Acid House, OldSkool Techno and the UK piano tunes.

Actively he got involved in Djing after giving guest appearances on the local FM stations such as RadioAvlaia early '92.  Naturally he started flirting with radio shows and in '93 on Safari FM 108 started co-hosting the Bang2Mania show ongoing for ten years upto '04. Taking music outside the box he lined-up in some of the stations' parties. He is also resident dj of Synthetic, an independent mobile party, based in Thessaloniki aiming to promote forward thinking electronic music through our own and other events.

Interview of the Month | Michael Wells

Picture
Michael Wells is widely known as one half of G.T.O.- Greater Than One but he is even more widely known as Tricky Disco, an early project which, with the self-tiled track it became a milestone and the most recognizable release for Warp Records, giving the label the iconic reputation. Technohead and Church of Exstasy are another two of this numerous projects, all aliases paired with his partner Lee Newman since 1985.

Both shared the feeling that the electronic music scene in UK was getting out of principle and dominated by fashion and trends, the drug policy resulted alot of restrictions which resulted too many criminals. they moved to Amsterdam started working for different labels and magazines all over the world.
Michael Wells based on his visual communication studies and a doctorate in clean arts (Royal College of Arts) has an ability of seeing things beyond the surface. About music he believes techno began in Germany, in experimental music from the 60s and not in Detroit.
UK born and now based, Michael Wells continues to DJ and record music under various names such as S.O.L.O. and The Man as well as a selection of his previous projects.

1. What plays in your car?
Normally Spanish Radio

2. How did it all start for you?
I started experimenting with sound whilst I was a student at the Royal College of Art. I was making performance Art and Super 8 films and needed soundtracks. I discovered that the music and film department had sound effect records, a record player and a real to reel tape recorder...I would make tape loops and scratch records (literally) then re re-record over and over to get tribal industrial sounding rhythms.

When I left college I worked as a freelance illustrator and Fine Artist and eventually saved
enough money to buy some recording equipment. Then together with Lee we started to
release and perform as Greater Than One. We released cassette packages and sold them in
limited editions. We then released some vinyl which got the attention of other labels, but we
were experimenting with different styles so it made sense to make up a new Artist name for
each project. That is how so many names came about. It's funny because we had an
Industrial Album out on Wax Trax in Chicago, the same time as Tricky Disco was on Warp.

3. What is one subgenre you think doesn't get the attention it deserves?
I like dark ambient and Drone soundscape music. And very minimal techno. I am a fan of the Finnish label Sahko.

4. What is one track that never gets old for you no matter how many times you hear?
The Passion by Technohead
Other peoples music: Where's your Child by Bam Bam, Knight of Vision by Knightvision
Internal Empire by Robert Hood

5. As both a DJ/Producer, which side are you on: entertainment or educational?
I span from the totally self indulgent to the let's have fun together. Music can be multi faceted
and I guess my moods can be reflected in that. I must say I am comfortable making all styles
of electronic music from Hardcore to Ambient. I am not a purist I am a pluralist.
All music is political because people make choices and choice is a deliberate thought.

6. Do you walk around humming melodies?
No I rarely do.

7. Your message to Report2Dancefloor Radio (including ahead plans)
Message to all is to enjoy what you do. And thanks to Report2dancefloor for supporting all
artists and labels.
New tracks coming as Michael Wells a.k.a G.T.O on Pure Dope Digital and Dataflow, Tom
Wax & Michael Wells on Dolma Records and Technohead on Mokum.
Thanks, Michael

Bizzy B's music captured the arrow's arc as it passed between the purist-decried dystopia of pitched-up rave and the tuff-as-old-boots, ruff-as-new-sandpaper darkside that housed the earliest, most bloodclotted jungle. There are certainly better known and more successful producers from the early 90s scene, but none who could, in the space of one tune - shit, the space of a few bars - explicate the links in the chain.

2 Italian legends and the R2D crew on a big ONAIR party to end the 6th season /
Leo Anibaldi - Maurizio Pavesi (BIT MAX)
__________________________
Leo Anibaldi is a living legend and the ultimate Italian Techno pioneer, he was then and he is now, his tracks can found in the playlist of the most wanted DJ across the globe as we speak.

But let's go back to how it all started. Leo Anibaldi at the age of 15 discovers his passion for electronic music using the first computers available like Commodore Vic 20 and 64, he begins to create his first loops and soon he plays in clubs as Dj Mc.
Not long before all this is a well established passion and he becomes a big analog synths collector and spends his daily life into the creation of beat groove.
1990 finds him in Acv records where he will make 20+ albums like: Attack Random, Riders of the future, Noise Generation, Muta, Cannibald and Aeon in a long life course, while soon after 1991 he teams up with another Italian veteran, Lory D and the two decide to start the alternative music movement universally known as The Sound of Rome, all in a small garage.
The rest is history, international recognition for his analog sound, Love Parade festival in Berlin, he releases in Reflex and in 2005 he launches his own label Cannibal Records.
___________________________
Italian DJ and producer Maurizio Pavesi contributed to house & techno projects Cold Ice, The End and Bit Max. He also released tracks under aliases Art Of Pink, Emmepi, Rizen, Rizeneto and Pavesi Sound, but going back to the start of his artist career he began when the first free radios were born in Italy. Maurizio Pavesi is immediately hired as speaker and D.J. and at these roles soon he became famous in Italy thanks to his notoriety, he began to receive offers from nightclubs at the age of 16.
In 1982 the first records were released upto the success "AO NO BUNGALOW", 1984 he composes and produces the song "I'can stop the beat" which became a massive hit.
1990 is "Dig-it" but in this case Maurizio Pavesi used the pseudonym Bit-Max and his music enters the European ranking among the top 50 best-selling records and more follows, "Dance (just dance for me)", "Extasy express", "Can you feel it babe" .... etc.
A first LP in 1992 "PAVESI SOUND dance collection" and meantime for Milan Radio 105 station, Pavesi continues his fantastic radio experience.

It all began in 1982, Colin who was then working as a banker in the City of London while began to warm up the ‘Gossips’ nightclub and by 1985 Colin became the key member of the pirate radio KissFM and soon after left banking to pursue a career in music and the "Abstrakt Dance" radio show was born. For 16 years "Abstrakt Dance" was a ground-breaking show that brought Techno to the surface. Guests on the show included all the Underground Resistance crew, Hawtin, Angel, Pullen, Garnier, Kevin Saunderson, Craig, May, Cox and the show was put on the internet in 1993, it was revolutionary.
Colin has played some of the World’s best parties.....Dance Valley, Full Moon, Tribal Gathering, Sunrise, Energy, Love Parade, Automatik and Rage@Heaven but most importantly, Fantazia. Fast forward to 2019 and its all systems go...there’s the label “Abstrakt Dance records”, regular sets at House of Honey, Give Festival, Tek London, Kerfuffle, Sterns Reunion parties, R.I.P, Promised Land, Club Aquarium, and also more Wildlife AM and D.S.T.P Warehouse parties and there doesn’t seem to be an end.
________________________________
Floyd Dyce (stage name Dice), was the in-house producer at Production House record label, set up in 1987. Dyce wrote and performed under several different names including The House Crew, DMS and Xstatic, and formed Baby D as yet another outlet for his compositions. Dyce now runs his own record label, Redmaster.
He knows his sound, knows his audience and knows his market, which allows leadership and longevity in his song writing and production career. He describes song writing and production as a passion, a challenge and ‘…there is nothing better than getting a buzz in making music and gaining feedback’.
This statement must have undoubtedly been derived because he can only get positive feedback from his music until today.

Dangerous Dancefloor Ray Keith Live

Picture
Ray Keith started his career in the dance music scene back in early 1989. Having an immense passion for music lead him to buy turntables, develop his mixing style and he eventually managed to get in to Oscars local nightclub for his first professional gig that opened the doors of many to follow like, L’aristos, The Venue, The Works and Andromeda and not forgetting the Hippodrome. The Crazy Club London offered him a residency, and then went on to play for Future and Innocence at Lazerdrome in 1990-91. Late 1992 saw Ray enter the world of music production, remixing tracks for Moby, Shades Of Rhythm, St. Etienne and Orbital. This gave him the ‘know how’ to work with other labels in the scene like Labello Blanco and Moving Shadow.

During this period Ray worked for Dave at City Sounds in Holborn, moving onto Black Market Records in Soho, keeping one ear to the ground, in charge of the buying department. After a time of producing and re-mixing tunes, Ray decided to start his own label in early 1994 but ended-up launching three separate labels – Penny Black, Dread Recordings and UFO – in 1996. Constantly releasing under numerous aliases: Armageddon, Babylon 5, D9, Dark Angel, Dark Soldier, Doctor Wootang, Dragon Fist, Dread Warrior, Dubwize, Dune, London's Most Wanted, Military Police, Renegade, RK Productions, The Terrorist, Tron, Two Disciples, UFO.

There is no end to Ray’s talents, he is religiously in the studio every week producing and remixing tracks, constantly moving on to new ideas and looking to the future. Keeping a strong working bond with his engineer Nookie from Good Looking Records for the last ten years, contributes to making these talented individuals into a formidable team. DJing every weekend around the U.K. you start to wonder if he has time to breath with the amount of work Ray gets through.

Rays motto is ‘hard work didn’t hurt anybody’ respectfully resulting his exclusive guest mix for R2Dradio
