It all began in 1982, Colin who was then working as a banker in the City of London while began to warm up the ‘Gossips’ nightclub and by 1985 Colin became the key member of the pirate radio KissFM and soon after left banking to pursue a career in music and the "Abstrakt Dance" radio show was born. For 16 years "Abstrakt Dance" was a ground-breaking show that brought Techno to the surface. Guests on the show included all the Underground Resistance crew, Hawtin, Angel, Pullen, Garnier, Kevin Saunderson, Craig, May, Cox and the show was put on the internet in 1993, it was revolutionary.
Colin has played some of the World’s best parties.....Dance Valley, Full Moon, Tribal Gathering, Sunrise, Energy, Love Parade, Automatik and Rage@Heaven but most importantly, Fantazia. Fast forward to 2019 and its all systems go...there’s the label “Abstrakt Dance records”, regular sets at House of Honey, Give Festival, Tek London, Kerfuffle, Sterns Reunion parties, R.I.P, Promised Land, Club Aquarium, and also more Wildlife AM and D.S.T.P Warehouse parties and there doesn’t seem to be an end.

Floyd Dyce (stage name Dice), was the in-house producer at Production House record label, set up in 1987. Dyce wrote and performed under several different names including The House Crew, DMS and Xstatic, and formed Baby D as yet another outlet for his compositions. Dyce now runs his own record label, Redmaster.
He knows his sound, knows his audience and knows his market, which allows leadership and longevity in his song writing and production career. He describes song writing and production as a passion, a challenge and ‘…there is nothing better than getting a buzz in making music and gaining feedback’.
This statement must have undoubtedly been derived because he can only get positive feedback from his music until today.

Ray Keith started his career in the dance music scene back in early 1989. Having an immense passion for music lead him to buy turntables, develop his mixing style and he eventually managed to get in to Oscars local nightclub for his first professional gig that opened the doors of many to follow like, L’aristos, The Venue, The Works and Andromeda and not forgetting the Hippodrome. The Crazy Club London offered him a residency, and then went on to play for Future and Innocence at Lazerdrome in 1990-91. Late 1992 saw Ray enter the world of music production, remixing tracks for Moby, Shades Of Rhythm, St. Etienne and Orbital. This gave him the ‘know how’ to work with other labels in the scene like Labello Blanco and Moving Shadow.

During this period Ray worked for Dave at City Sounds in Holborn, moving onto Black Market Records in Soho, keeping one ear to the ground, in charge of the buying department. After a time of producing and re-mixing tunes, Ray decided to start his own label in early 1994 but ended-up launching three separate labels – Penny Black, Dread Recordings and UFO – in 1996. Constantly releasing under numerous aliases: Armageddon, Babylon 5, D9, Dark Angel, Dark Soldier, Doctor Wootang, Dragon Fist, Dread Warrior, Dubwize, Dune, London's Most Wanted, Military Police, Renegade, RK Productions, The Terrorist, Tron, Two Disciples, UFO.

There is no end to Ray’s talents, he is religiously in the studio every week producing and remixing tracks, constantly moving on to new ideas and looking to the future. Keeping a strong working bond with his engineer Nookie from Good Looking Records for the last ten years, contributes to making these talented individuals into a formidable team. DJing every weekend around the U.K. you start to wonder if he has time to breath with the amount of work Ray gets through.

Rays motto is ‘hard work didn’t hurt anybody’ respectfully resulting his exclusive guest mix for R2Dradio
