The right time for her has come, on January 6, 2016 she released her first EP., A Trip To The Moon. Based on a 1902 silent film with a soundtrack of a classical philarmonic composition : violins and trumpets. The story of the film sees a group of astronomers who make a study for a cannon-propelled capsule to make a travel to the Moon, explore the Moon's surface, conflict with the Moon’s inhabitants named Selenites, escape and return to Earth with a captive Selenite.
Today, 114 years later, Rebecca Goldberg seems to be giving what the film would hope for. The concept throughout has a stunning balance, thus a fusion of retro and futuristic.
And to justify all that she has released her EP on USB stick. printed and placed in a hard-box case.
A trip To The Moon by Rebecca Goldberg
1. Proposition
The first track comes as an intro and you do get the feeling that a science project is about to burst before your eyes. Very subtle synths with a sub bass to be kicking at the right tempo.

2. Build Scene
A track that is laying the path to what is coming. Starts of with mechanical sounds: you hear those cogs working and your mind is taken into a lab. Towards the end it gives you a hint of what follows.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
3. A Trip To The Moon
The third track has very much evident her love for the dark wave, space cold minimal syth sounds and retro drum machines. Subtle yet very dynamic.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
4. Champignon Parapluie
At this point we are given a track that works as an interval to the final. The title from French translates as ‘Mushroom Umbrella’ .
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
5. Labor Omnia Vincit
The fifth track starts of as a picturesque journey of minimal mechanical sounds keeping a consistent level and develops to a deep avant-garde techno acidy track. We succeeded a trip to the moon, let’s dance.

What comes as a bonus is the short film of Le Voyage Dans La Lune (1902) with Rebecca’s soundtrack on , skilfully remixed.
